Status Status Update
(March.30, 2005)
- The peripheral crates are currently being reassembled
by Yuri. The original E-pool crate has been reassembled and is only a few
tests away from being returned to CERN's E-pool. The new VME crate had a
few minor mechanical issue which could easily be
solved. The TMB front plates are at the CERN machine shop and as soon as
those are back we can add the remaining TMBs in
the crate. At that point we will be sending the full crate to SX5. The minirack has already been modified and is back in
place.
- The TTC modules are hooked up to a special clock
patch which matches the machine clock. The TTCvx
as well as the FED-CCB and TF-CCB nicely seem to lock on to this signal.
- Dan Holmes is preparing the TF crate running several
tests on the SP. A new hard drive will be used to install the latest linux version (SLC3) on
the TF control machine acosta1.
- Individuals and institutes have been asked to
participate in the upcoming Spring Test.

Frank
